About Longley Way

Longley Way Elementary is a very special place where we highly value the “community feel”  we have on our campus and making a difference in the lives of all our students.  Leadership is a core value at Longley Way and we strive to empower all our students to see themselves as leaders in all they do both at school and home.
We also put great emphasis on preparing our students to be 21st Century learners through collaboration, respecting differences, and going deeper in their thinking.  We are an AVID Elementary and also in the beginning stages of Leader in Me, both of which offer a backbone for how we run our school.
We invite you to become an active member of the Longley Way Community.  Parent involvement is key to our success and this can be done in a myriad of ways.  We ask that you consider serving at Longley Way either in a small or large capacity.  Among the many ways to get involved are:  volunteer in your child’s classroom, help with a PTA Family Fun Night, attend a field trip, come to a PTA meeting, help in the workroom, volunteer with a fundraiser, get involved with a PTA committee, serve as a room parent, serve on School Site Council, serve on the PTA Executive Board, join the LW garden committee.

PTA Meeting on May 12 @ 7pm

We would like to invite all our parents, staff and students to join us for our very last PTA Association meeting for the school year. For this upcoming meeting on May 12th, guest speakers from Dana Middle School will also be there to give an overview for our 5th grade families and address any questions or concerns for the Fall. This meeting will still be held over Zoom and the start time has been changed to the evenings at 7:00pm in hopes that parents and students can attend together.

Our Purpose:
To challenge and inspire students to make a positive and profound impact on their world.
