This National School Counselors Week (Feb. 4 - Feb. 8), Arcadia Unified School District celebrates its 23 school counselors and the important work they do for student development.

We will be kicking off the Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Jump Rope for Heart), which will be happening on February 28. Our involvement with this program is to promote healthy lifestyles with our students and contribute to the American Heart
Association, which we have done the past two years. This is a great way for us to do something for others and support other students in need of medical support. The
Kids Heart Challenge is not a fundraiser for Longley Way as all proceeds go to American Heart Association.

Parent Conferences will take place on February 13-15. These days will be minimum days, ending at 12:35 pm for TK-5 and 12:00 pm for SDC.

No school on Monday, February 18

Join us at our PTA meeting on Wednesday, January 16 at 6:06pm in the MPR. Our school counselor, Ms. Faris, will be our guest speaker for this meeting! We will review mid-year budget and you will have the opportunity to join the Nominating Committee.

Our SOLD OUT STEM Studio Robotics event is on Friday, January 25 from 6-8pm.

Come join your child for lunch on the lawn on Tuesday, January 8. For specific times, please refer to the photo!

Turkey Trot Walk-a-Thon is on Friday, November 16, 2018. This is the biggest (and potentially ONLY) fundraiser of the year. Donations can be made in person or online. Prizes will be awarded for $25, $50, $100 raised and for the highest amount raised!

Thanksgiving break is between Monday, November 19, 2018 to Friday, November 23, 2018.
